I was the first person from my state school to attend Oxford University. Neither of my parents went to university. So although it's a cliché, education really did change my life!

As a teacher my passion was for all my students to have the benefits of a quality education. As a Senior Leader I improved Teaching & Learning, enhanced the academic life of the schools I worked in, and enjoyed coaching and mentoring middle leaders to develop themselves, and their colleagues. I have over 17 years experience in a broad range of schools and so I understand that each school faces its own challenges.

My passion for education goes beyond schools to Further and Higher education, industry training and social enrichment. I hold a number of Board positions and mentor women in education leadership positions.

Since my family relocated I have worked with a range of schools, rather than in one specific institution, to help Senior Leaders develop strategy and bring about changes that make a difference to the young people in their care.
